The CQL 3.GX Extension in Chess Assistant 9

Besides offering standard CQL functionality, Chess Assistant 9 also provides some helpful extensions to the already powerful query language. In particular, some of the new functionality takes advantage of the graphical environment in Chess Assistant, but CQL was originally developed as a command line utility. The document below describes the extensions that are available in Chess Assistant 9. It is based on a text file which I reformatted and converted to PDF-format:
